| Bio: | Someday I really hope to write a book of memories for my daughter. Not just about me, but stories from all my family members. As a child I have very fond memories of sitting at my Grandma's kitchen table and listening to all her stories. As an adult, I really wish I had something tangible to go to, so that I could sit and read all those stories. But unfortunately, most of them died with her. With the unexpected deaths of both my Grandfathers recently, nearly all of the resources I had to tales of long ago are also gone. I feel it's crucial, if for no other reason than my own selfish personal ones, to record as much information as I can. Plus, if I just feel like reminiscing about something from long ago, I can record it here, instead of bothering Ken with it. Something tells me he gets a bit sick of my stories sometimes.
This is a place that I plan to go to tell my stories, or stories of those close to me that I'll learn. If you're so inclined to read, feel free. I'm going to make this "friends only" because I really don't want this stuff being accessible to any Tom Dick or Harry. If you're interested in reading, and you feel you've got a darn good reason to poke in and read, let me know. I can't say I'll invite everyone, you'll have to leave it up to my personal discretion. Please respect that. I'm not even sure how often I'll use it. But hopefully I'll use it quite a bit. |
